About
The name modicum is latin for little or a small quantity of a particular thing, especially something considered to be desirable or highly valued. This name fits the Modicum™ Quartet well. A string quartet consists of only a small quantity of players, and yet produces a sound which is to be desirable and valued by all. Founded to raise the level of music available at weddings and other formal events, the Modicum Quartet specializes in performing Classical and Sacred literature. They pride themselves in the fact that they present a concert level performance at every event and that they present themselves professionally by their attire and professional interactions with their clients. All members of the Modicum Quartet™ are experienced musicians with schooling in solo instrument performance and most of which are currently pursuing college degrees in music performance or already hold a masters or doctorate in instrument performance.
Please note that due to the busy schedules of the founding quartet members, some musician substitutions may be performed as needed. Any substitute players will be auditioned thoroughly to insure that the Modicum™ Quartet’s standard of excellence is maintained.
