The name Ten Strings comes from the four strings of the violin combined with the six of the guitar. Ten Strings was founded by two home schooled friends who wanted to play duo music together for a chamber music competition. Ten Strings was fortunate enough to win first place and since then has enjoyed making music together at events in the Greenville, SC area. The combination of violin and guitar is exceedingly enjoyable to hear. Ten Strings primarily performs Classical and Sacred arrangements.
Please note that due to the busy schedules of the founding duo members, some musician substitutions may be performed as needed. Any substitute players will be auditioned thoroughly to insure that the Ten Strings’ standard of excellence is maintained.
